Dreich start to the weekend

This morning I took a notion to bake a Victoria sponge for the first time this millennium. (I blame 'GBBO An Extra Slice' which I watched last night.) 

Apart from that, it has been an unproductive, dreich day but the forecast for tomorrow is looking slightly better.
