Hunters Moonscape

It started with an attempt to photograph the Hunters Moon, but there was just enough haze to spoil the shot, and I’ve photographed the moon before, and they all look much the same.  I then noticed the radio/communication towers were half submerged in mist, so I took a few shots of them.

Then I thought that the panorama was looking quite good, not that I haven’t taken more photos of that than any other subject other than Biskit.  So I nipped downstairs, grabbed my 24-105 lens and there you go.  The smaller towers to the left are our local DAB transmitter plus a few other things.  The communications tower in the middle does not exist, and to the right is an electricity pylon in the field across the A15.

So what to use.  In the end I went for the pano, and made a collage of the other two.  The collage needs a dark background so that’s at extra.

A crazy shopping day today.  I have spared you the ‘Flowers from . . .’, but I did consider the COOP.  Couldn’t get all I needed from Tesco so I went to Sainsburys as well.  They both have 25% off six or more bottles of wine so I took advantage in both shops.

Now I need a good subject for tomorrow.
