Shaggy Ink Cap

Much of the day today has been taken up with walking a very pleasant 13km to the farm shop and back, interspaced with a delightful ham egg and chips where the ham was slabs of meat half inch thick! I somehow fought it down, grin, but it was certainly a weight on the breakfast porridge on the walk home...

Happily, when we got back we found the builders had got more than half of the patio laid, and the limestone slabs (there's that word again) shine in golds, yellows and greys, matching the walls. The dwarf walls are to be finished tomorrow and that will let Janet back into the garden, for which she's gently excited.

Anyway, shaggy ink cap... not a flower for Flower Friday... does a fruit count? No, I guess the week is filled with challenges, not mushroom for another... aha...
