Remote inspection instrument

Believed to have been used to assess the condition of the special fuels from a suitably safe distance. As we now know no distance was truly safe.

This example was retrieved from site 4 I think, although the person in whose possession it was has not been in contact for more than a year.

It appears radiologically and chemically safe. I washed off what appear to have been bloodstains around the eyepiece.

I've bought a battery for it and it is at least partly working: some contacts need cleaning I think.
