Firstly, this is the birthday of the Prince of Cambridge, born this afternoon in London!

Secondly, with no link whatsoever, this is the best crop of black currants we've had from our single bush! They have now been cooked and puréed - and a spoonful is wonderfully delicious with vanilla ice cream !
Well, ok, a pudding fit for a prince!
