In a country churchyard......
Wakefield is one of the earliest European settlements in New Zealand, and boasts the oldest church and the longest running school in the country. It was chosen by N from our camera club as a good place to go on a photographic outing to, something we engineered to coincide with an international photographic walk. Beautiful sunshine when I left home..........about 20 minutes south the rain started......some people contacted N to withdraw in response to the rain but a few others unexpectedly turned up so a small and keen group of us walked (and drove!) to some of Wakefield's historic locations. The outing wouldn't be complete of course without some food and drink at the local 'Little Sprig'. Lovely outing - thanks for organising it N :D
