Moonfall

I had to get Big Nik out of his cupboard to take a moon shot. I know better than to waste my time with an iPhone. I expect someone can do her justice that way, but not me.

We have had torrential rain for most of the week. Apart from one Night Patrol, the boys and I have managed to dodge the worst of it. But we have certainly had a good drenching and so very desperately-needed it was too. Let's hope the reservoirs have risen just a bit or we will be having water shortages again this winter.

But today, it is bright and sunny, with a cool breeze blowing from the west. It certainly seems quite autumnal, a season we often skip altogether here.

In other news, my fasting lifestyle, now in its 15th week, has resulted in a total weight loss of 12.2 kg. I am officially less heavy (I won't say lighter!) than I have been for well over 25 years.

But that tum refuses to go completely. Best carry on, then...
