Carol: Rosie & Mr. Fun

2024 Thursday — Weather Report

Our weather seems to finally be changing. The cloud bank this morning has gathered in Morro Bay. The tides seem rather extreme — high and lows. Our approaching weekend will probably be summer- like.

Our favorite weather man wrote this “According to my weather station's solar radiation sensor, this has been the most overcast, foggy, and drizzly first half of October in Los Osos since 2008, when it was installed by SLO Weather. So far this month, the station's tipping bucket rain gauge has recorded 0.05 of an inch of mist and drizzle. However, a major shift in the weather is underway. A mostly dry cold front will move south through the Central Coast tonight, followed by gale-force northwesterly winds on Thursday. In the front's wake, gusty Santa Lucia (northeasterly) winds on Friday through Saturday will bring clear skies and warmer temperatures to the beaches and coastal valleys.”
