Back To Black

A return to the stage in Lancaster tonight as we start the final three performances of Blackadder. A very good audience tonight, and numbers for tomorrow and Saturday are even better. It would appear that the praise for last week’s shows has had the desired effect in boosting ticket sales.
As you can see, thirty minutes before the start, things were looking pretty relaxed in our dressing room but, after three nights off, it was - perhaps - only natural that there were a few hiccups in tonight’s show. Very few fluffed lines to be fair, but there were several technical issues, though these were not serious enough to spoil the show. I’m sure everything will be back on track tomorrow.
Let’s just hope the energy levels hold up until Saturday.
