Cider, By Heck!
As anticipated after two days of rain, the golf course was closed again today which inevitably was the cue for a warm, sunny morning.
Tess and I took advantage of the sunshine with a walk that took us past our local cider maker’s barn, where they were unloading a trailer of cider apples, presumably straight into the vats they brew the cider in.
We spent the afternoon packing and sorting out food for our annual family October half term week away. Off to Wales tomorrow.
The good news is that the garage confirmed that our car isn’t a write-off after last week’s prang. They’re now waiting for the requisite parts to be delivered, which means we get to keep our courtesy car for our trip away.
