Notan

I have joined a notan drawing class to see what it has to offer. It was rather a long drive there and the room was perishing.. (even on a relatively warm day) so not sure what it will be like once the wintery weather kicks in! Notan is a Japanese word describing light and dark. It is used to help balance light and dark within the composition of a painting. Quite enjoyed it.. but hope next week there will be more to learn.. 

It has been gloriously sunny and bright today.. some lovely colours in the trees while I was driving along. Jasper was very glad to see me and to be allowed out. No cat flap here so she just has to be in if I am out.
