Thursday

It's a beautiful day and I enjoyed it!

Hetty and I walked into town this morning.

Hetty spotted Clive's bike, locked to a bench, before I even recognised it. There was no budging her. So I called him. He was in the barbers having been to the gym so we met him afterwards and had coffee. Clive also had an impromptu breakfast.

He cycled home whilst I browsed the market and met friends, Jo B, Kelvin, Karen and Vera plus Teg, Shadow, Howard and Vincent, the dogs.  Together, we took up too much space. Devizes has an excellent Thursday market that draws the crowds.

This afternoon has been spent gardening. Kelvin has offered to deal with the fallen tree. That's for another day.

The news about Liam Payne is absolutely tragic. I'm not suggesting it was suicide; perhaps a sequence of events with drugs thrown in. It's heartbreaking. Fame isn't for everyone. I think Harry Styles has too much adoration but he appears to be level headed. I hope so.
