Back to . . .

. . . knitting. I tend to have a break with knitting during the summer, mainly because warm (!) weather is not good for working with wool. Also knitted things tend to be wintery things.

I was planning on knitting a cowl for myself, but the two daughters instantly wanted one. So we chose three skeins at the K&S show - some lovely merino wool with a little nylon for durability. Hand dyed in good colour combinations, it wasn't cheap but I need yarn to feel right if I am doing a lot of work with it. I am very pleased with how it is knitting up.
