Homework Time

My life writing course started again last night.
Some familiar faces from the last course who I was happy to see, (a couple not so much) but also a few new faces to get to know so really looking forward to getting some feedback on my writing and hearing some lovely writing from the others.
As soon as I see the homework exercise I always have a couple of ideas for my 500 word piece. Then I spend a day or so formulating it all in my head (usually when I’m out on my bike) and then it’s time to commit to paper. I tend to stick to my first draft rather than endlessly tweaking it. And usually the feedback is really good, helpful and very rarely negative. Our tutor is great, corrects our grammar and does not like brackets (or exclamation marks)!
