DAY OFF

Not the best start…
Decided to take The Revs car…got in, wing mirror opened out, radio came on, wing mirrors closed in, radio went off…car wouldn’t start. Annoying but not the worst…then realised all the doors and windows wouldn’t open. I was trapped inside. Luckily I’d been to the loo and had a flask of tea but I was a bit scared!! My lovely neighbour came to my rescue and with some jump leads was able to get enough power to open the window so I could pass out the key so it could be opened!!!!

Then collected Mum and we went for a drive around Kent!!! We actually clocked up 30 miles driving round enjoying the wonderful sunshine. We stopped for a fabulous lunch and the staff in the restaurant were incredibly kind to Mum. Although we didn’t walk more than 100m Mum did so well walking and ate the best she has done in weeks. A good day for both of us.

Made a special friend a batch French Onion Soup (her husband in hospital after bowel cancer surgery) and went swimming with The Rev……..is it bedtime yet?????
