Back on the chain gang

I spent 6 and a half hours on a call with security auditors today. We have clients who take credit cards and so they need to have a high level of security as specified by the card companies.

We took this client on about 18 months ago, although the site is good it wasn’t built on the most secure platform. It’s taken us months to sort it all out. Today was the day we got assessed, 6 and a half hours having systems, code and process picked apart.

Painful but quite interesting. They didn’t find anything wrong today but there are a few things we need to confirm and modify slightly and a big list of stuff they want for next year. Final review next week.
