Vesijärvi lake

This is the "big" Vesijärvi (water lake) lake. Last week I showed you the Little Vesijärvi lake.

I visited the school today to make a case for my English and entrepreneurship. I did the oral English there on the spot. I spoke better English than the teacher. I felt like she choked a bit for that. Also she had to look at the 4 (4!) questions she asked me from her notes. I was excused from the course work, but I still have to go do the written exams. Same for the entrepreneurship. 2 years ago she could have given me a 5 (best grade), but now they have new rules for the qualifications, and I have to go take the test.

These were the 2 subjects that I was told about in the meeting last week. Turns out I can ask to skip the course also on Finnish language (that teacher was sick so I need to email her) and social studies. The social studies teacher also told me that I could make the social studies and sustainable development tests at the same time to save time. There was also the teacher for the digital studies and I realized that I could have ask the same from her. But I've nearly done the first course, so... It's so frustrating.

And stressing.

This morning I did some of my own things before I went to school. I planted some orchids that were developing new leaves and roots on the old flower stems. And then I cut some of the flower stems that I saw had a potential to do the same and put potato peels around them. They are now resting on a bed of moss. I hope I'm able to reproduce new orchids. Saw this online. I did not invent this myself :-D

But it was good to do something other that school. I need that. My HRV is starting to get closer to off balance. I can see it on my watch. I need to slow down a bit. In case you wonder what HRV is...

"Heart rate variability is where the amount of time between your heartbeats fluctuates slightly. Even though these fluctuations are undetectable except with specialized devices, they can still indicate current or future health problems, including heart conditions and mental health issues like anxiety and depression."
