Green all the way!

It started off a bit cooler today, but the sun came through mid morning and it began to get warm.  Never as hot as Saturday though, and I think the very hot spell is over, at least for a few days...... rain has even been mentioned, perish the thought!!!!

The HG and I both had a working day today, he on painting the fence, at least he did start it as there is a lot of fence, then he was grass cutting both here and there.

I stripped the covers from our sofas and chairs in the living room as they are washable, don't wash them often but it was a good drying day, so got them all washed and out, and although they are heavy, got them dried by dinnertime, so I have just ironed them, and will spend tomorrow morning fitting them on, an awkward job which takes a bit of time.

We both stopped in the afternoon though and went for a walk in the sun, and it was good to get out.
