Spangled

A wet, grey day. I spent quite a lot of it editing and sorting photos.  Just as the light was beginning to fade I took the camera out into the garden, sheltering under an umbrella.
These are Chilean guava berries, apparently a favourite of Queen Victoria's. They're quite cloying to me, so I tend to leave them for the birds. But the whole bush has a lovely delicate scent.  It's also evergreen and very robust, so I'm happy to keep it.  The berries almost look candied, they're so wet.  The raindrops on the spider's web, catching what was left of the light, were a bonus.
Thanks to all who've left good wishes while Richard and I have been getting over the virus. We're both feeling almost back to normal, thankfully.
