Palma visit

A rather poor set of water droplets i.e. condensation on my glass of gin for TinyTuesday. Thanks to freespiral for hosting.

G&G and Nr PHL and I headed into Palma this morning after breakfast for a wander about. Weather was pleasantly warm and we were fortunate to secure seats on the bus on both legs of the journey. We found a lovely wee tapas bar down a side street for a late lunch and picked up some rather fancy design tee shirts.

Although the cathedral is rather magnificent we opted to look at the exterior only and had a five time watching the guards civil chase the street vendors away from their pitches. It looked like a game of catch and mouse as the vendors would retreat a bit then set out their goods again before the police car reappeared.

G&G opted to eat in the hotel and Mr PHL and I headed out to meet my brother and the rest of the family. A very tasty chicken breast in mushroom sauce for several of our group and the biggest kids burger I’ve ever seen for my great nephew. He could only manage a few bites but luckily his papa was happy to help out.

After dinner they all headed back to the hotel and we met up with G&G in you’ve guessed it, the Irish bar for a nightcap.

We sat on the balcony chilling for an hour whennnwe got back. So nice to be outside without a jacket on at this time of year.
