After my rant last Sunday about the bird life around my garden I forget to mention these 2 immigrants. They have migrated from New Zealand.
They are Pukeko birds which are swamp hens and we spent ages looking for them both in the swamp and in the shops! I am only minding the small one for my daughter and I managed to buy the bigger one after a lot of searching. They are ceramic. They both look good down near my water feature.
