Rescued Trees

The one on the left is an early spring cherry blossom, the one on the right is a small crab apple.  Both of them were chopped off when they took the big sycamore down (I was pretty mad I can tell you) anyway I noticed both shooting and lucky both above where they had been grafted to a root stock, so I am hopeful with a bit of pruning next year to turn them back into trees again. The Stone on the left marks Flissy's grave one of my earlier collies.

What an awful drab day it's been, dull and cloudy all day quite depressing. Did a Lidl shop today, fell asleep watching the lunchtime news. So after  lunch I did a bit of  transferring websites and passwords to a new book, some of the ones in the old book were years out of date some don't even exist anymore.

It's forecast rain for tomorrow. Another drab day  suppose.
