I haven't been on Lou's favourite walk since before her diagnosis.  Monika, Edgar's new girlfriend, is a walker and she suggested we all went on the walk together. 
The weather was perfect, there were tears at Lou's favourite bench....but there was also, for me, a huge sense of gratitude and new beginings.
