Autumn trees on the Tweed
The three of us enjoyed a grand day out in the Borders today. Unfortunately only two of us remember it :-(
The main event for me and Mr hazelh was a lovely autumnal walk along the Tweed in St Boswells. While we were crunching through a multi-layered carpet of leaves along the riverbank, my not-so-little sister took Mummy hazelh for a drive through the beautiful countryside to Kelso and back again.
Before and after these outings we patronised two of our regular Border haunts: the Buccleuch Arms for lunch, and the Mainstreet Trading Company for tea/coffee and cake.
I also managed to squeeze an early run into the day before we left for the Borders. It was a surprise of to pass ArcLight on her bike on the cycle path, pedalling to work.
Exercise today: 5k run; walking (20,399 steps including run).
