Day 50

In a turn of events Shan woke me up today!! She chose her outfit for another fun day at Auntie Bea’s and wanted her hair done like Dolores again. We had to refer to her as Dolores all morning and speak to her in Spanish…which she doesn’t know! We’ve learnt papi, casita, hola and adios. We’ll be fluent in no time…

Went to pick her up and she was napping with Auntie Bea - it was really cute. When she finally woke up she told us about their adventures today:
- Weetabix and crumpets with honey for breakfast
- they watched all sorts of Winnie the Pooh including the modern version which AB was not a fan of!
- took the bus and tram to Paddington Pool they even got to sit at the front of a bus with an upstairs!
- went swimming for an hour and played with floats and noodles
- chips as a post swimming snack (with the view of a gorilla’s bottom!)
- chilling with the statues (wooden sculptures of animals) whilst waiting for the bus
- went to the shops to buy milk and yoghurt you drink from a bottle!!! with a cow on the front
- and finally angel slices as a treat

Auntie Bea knows how to treat a girl!

Oh and they did some reading! She’s getting so good now!

Got home and she played with her village and we had a mid dinner dance party to 9 to 5, Islands in the Stream, Jolene, A bar song from shabooezy and Man I feel like a woman! When she sang A Bar Song she passionately screamed at me ‘she’s been telling me all night long’ she really makes me laugh.
