Pearl Assurance, Swindon

A busy Arty day! This morning I was archiving the Swindon Camera Club photo library with another volunteer. We were able to identify some of the pictures using google image finder- what a tool this is!

This afternoon I was in the Gorse Hill area of Swindon for the U3A Art Appreciation group talk.

I had a wander around the area, not an area I know well, but there are quite a few interesting things to photograph.


First of all is the ghost sign for the Pearl Assurance Company. This is quite a big building, so it must have been an important company in its day…
