A Day of Two Parts !

We set off earlier this morning to catch low tide at Runswick . Coffee first, knowing that ValC https://www.blipfoto.com/ValC , would possibly be here, I accosted a woman inside the cafe, whom I thought might be her ! She seemed somewhat taken aback and I tried to explain that really I wasn’t a ‘strange person ‘ at all - not sure she was convinced .

On to the beach for our walk where I spotted another likely suspect, who was taking photos . I surreptitiously kept stealing looks at her and eventually worked up the courage, after my previous mistake, to approach her ! It was ….!! We had a lovely stroll and chat along the shore with her husband , and I was really pleased to have met her - only the second person from Blip whom I’ve met in person !!

After saying our goodbyes, we went for a picnic on the moor where the mist came down .

This afternoon, we strolled around Helmsley and calked into The Salt Box Gallery where I’d bought P’s wedding ring last year . A side from their usual delights, we went into the sculpture garden which had some beautiful sculptures including kinaesthetic ones.
