Robin (again)

TUESDAY

I spent most of the morning cutting back more of the lavender and planting some new lavender plants that I’ve been growing over the last year. Along with Tony Blackburn and Jonnie Walker on BBC Sounds, the little robin from yesterday’s Blip kept me company. 

Both garden waste bins are now full to the brim, and collection isn’t until next week!

This afternoon, I headed down to East Parade for a couple of games of bowls. In the first game, I partnered with Keith from Rhuddlan, and we played against Geoff  and Glenys from Bryn Newydd. They knocked me out in the last qualifying round of the pairs competition earlier in the season, so I was determined to beat them today. They were a bit less enjoyable to play against, but despite trailing 13-20, we pulled it back and won 21-20!

After that, I had a much friendlier game with my club mate Paul before heading home.
