At Rossie Drain.

After yesterday's sunshine, a chilly overcast day. I've been very lazy and spent most of the day reading apart from a bit of tidying. Went to Heatherhall Woods in the afternoon hoping to photograph some autumn colour but it hadn't developed enough yet so made do with Rossie Drain. It was dug by hand in 1740 to partially drain the ancient Rossie Loch as part of an agricultural improvement scheme creating additional farmland.
