Prince
I spent a bit of time replanning my allotment today (on paper (laptop)) followed by a fun, and hard work, couple of hours tidying up, moving things around, digging up some old strawberries and a rhubarb that haven't been doing so well and hard pruning my remaining gooseberry bush. It's probably not the right time of year but it's surrounded by creeping couch grass and I need to be able to get to that to try and get rid of it. If it (the bush) dies it dies. I've already got a few things in mind for the new year, including a few more perennial things that I can leave in and not worry too much about.
We're off on the last adventure of our six months off tomorrow., Once we're back is only two weeks before we both have to go back to work (albeit with some A/L still to fit in before the end of January,). I'm still not thinking too much about it.
The largest two of these Crown Prince pumpkins weighed 6.6kg and 6kg respectively. I had to get the bathroom scales down to weigh them, the kitchen ones didn't go high enough.
