Another Day

They're everywhere

I went to the new medical centre in town to get my flu and Covid jabs, but as expected, when I said I had a cold was told to re-book.  Whilst I was with the nurse I mentioned that I hadn't been called for the RSV jab, so she booked it for me, eventually finding a slot at the end of November.

When I got home I re-booked flu and Covid for the end of October.

The neighbours who are moving caught me as I was distributing the emptied bins around the cul-de-sac, to tell me that there would be removal vans here on Thursday and Friday.  There should be plenty of room without blocking anyone in.  It's the first time I've seen C walk outside her drive in the seven years they've been here.

Bad news on the tree reduction.  All four would have to be reduced at the same time or not at all, and we need them to be lower for safety.  Two belong to the council, one to us and the other to the neighbours who will be moving in.  If they don't agree, then all four have to remain, but can be thinned.  I will talk to them once they've settled in.

The large white caterpillars are all over the nasturtiums, although there are some that aren't going to make it.  They have interesting faces but I can never get one I am sufficiently happy with.

Camera club tonight.
