More signs of Autumn.

On the lower slopes of the Knott. Here is Ragwort which just a few weeks ago was displaying it bright yellow flowers. Now it has gone to seed.

And in the extra I believe these to be Scarlet Waxcaps. We had gone to this location to look for the annual appearance of the giant Fairy Ring. But we must be too soon.
