Loaded up.......

A frosty start this morning. Autumn is here,as you can tell by the huge numbers of geese that are back for the winter eating all our grass.
This lorry arrived in at midnight last night and parked up. He's here to collect the 34 blks I've sold,but he had to wait until 9 am before he could drive again for his tacho.
Had him loaded and away by 9.30 am. They are off to somewhere near Hereford.
Another 2 cows calved during the night, both up and sucked so quite happy.
Spent the rest of the day hauling some of the bulling heifers home from down the road. That field was the quieter ones.
Went back down later and eventually managed to move the next lot to a field closer to where we load them. Now just need to keep feeding them until I can get them shut in.
Went away for a load of straw from next door as it was still dry. By the time I was coming home it was getting dark, aye, the nights are fair drawing in...
