To the museum

in Valkenburg.
It was an exhibition with photos of Allies during the liberation in September 1944. We were impressed.
It was very extensive with a long video report at the end in which we saw, among other things, fragments of interviews with eyewitnesses of the construction of the Netherlands American Cemetery and Memorial. Perhaps that was the information that impressed us the most.

On our walk to Valkenburg we discovered a path we had never noticed before. It was narrow and muddy and ran along the trenches and railway tracks on the ridge along the Geuldal.
