Lock 5

When I was out on Saturday I wanted to stop at Lock 5 of the Shubie Canal, but took the wrong turn and couldn't find it. I decided to go back out today between the showers and this time I found it. I managed to get a few photos, then it started raining again.

On the way home I stopped at a farm market to get a few potatoes to use for mashed potatoes and I found a small turnip too. Thanksgiving Day supper was ham, mashed potatoes, turnip and carrots and a glass of wine.

A thunder and lightning storm is moving thru here now. We had a heavy downpour of rain too, but it seems to have moved out now. The power flickered once but didn't go out. At least not yet.
