A&E

Routine hospital appointment this morning to review J’s PEG tube with the decision to remove it when the infection has cleared, he’s still on antibiotics at the moment.
Went to Aquafit & enjoyed it after a few weeks break.
J was asleep when I got home but later I heard a crash & he’d fallen in the bedroom, he was confused so I checked his temperature & it was 39.3.
I was told by Dr to phone 999 if his temperature spiked because he’s a sepsis risk. The results of the 999 call was to take him to A&E myself, so here we are 4 hours later - triage after the first hour, bloods & ECG after the second hour & apparently we may be here till morning to see the Dr - it’s going to be a long night!
