Technical Issues with Delays

A dry morning, cold and calm.  The sun almost broke out, but clouds won, winds picked up and showers starred.  Drier and warmer tonight.

Up early, headed to work, got my jobs for the week, I'm on "da toon" essykert all week.  Philip driving and Craig loading with me.  A morning on black bag waste, then paper and cardboard recycling waste in the afternoon.  A late finish, straight to work in the shop after tea.  A steady night of customers.  Quick walkies, then feet before bed.

We've been plagued with technical issues today, and delays too.  The big town essykert (bin lorry) is currently out of action, MOT due, so we started with the new mini one.  It wasn't long into the run, when the tech issues started, with the loading mechanism.  Finally the engineer sent it back to the garage, we went for the next available mini.  More loading mechanism problems, this time it was straight to the garage.  After a while, we got a swap with another run and off we set, this time hours behind and looked like a really late finish.  Thankfully the other kerts started heading back to town, and the team pulled together and helped us out, catching up in the late afternoon.  A great bunch of guys to work with.  Here's us stuck at the side of the road, fully loaded with a big wheelie bin!
