Rainy day

This was the sight that greeted me this morning when I looked out my bedroom window. It was heavily raining for a couple of hours before I left to catch the train back home.

I had an uneventful journey until the train reached Honiton where it stopped for at least 30 minutes. This was because at this point it’s single track and a train heading towards us was delayed. I had 2 minutes to change platforms at Exeter and surprisingly just made it.

It’s been a great weekend and l was just beginning to get used to the hustle and bustle of London.
