Ice patterns

Ice patterns on the car bonnet this morning as I scraped the windscreen, it’s only half way though October and so cold! The sun shone all day and it was beautiful in the front garden whereas the back garden, which is in full shade at this time of the year, was bitterly cold. I moved all of the pots that are still flowering round to the front to give them a little chance of surviving this early frost.
