Reflections

Embarked on my first long walk in nearly a year today.  We are in Skipton for a break with friends and set off from our hotel, which lies on the Leeds Liverpool Canal about a mile out of Skipton. Although it does not look it the sun was shining but light cloud soon drifted over, covering the blue sky and stealing the sun. 

We had a lovely walk of about 13 miles to the north of the town and reminded me why I enjoy hill walking. (not much of it about in Norfolk.!) Coffee and cake at the end of the walk was our reward.
