A Watery Curtain
A fabulous day .... no wind, no rain, no clouds ..... the downside was the lack of coffee shops open. Fortunately the Pavilion Cafe up at the sports venue was open so we got our carry outs there.
We walked part of the Coastal Path from St Monans passing the sea water pool, the old Salt Pans and the Windmill. Fife's last surviving windmill, built in the late 18th century in order to pump sea water into nearby salt pans.
Passing the outdoor pool we spotted a group of hardy ladies enjoying a swim and then just occasionally an incoming wave had just enough force to hit the rocky side of the pool making a fine watery curtain.
