walking

After our Aqua/sauna/swim at DG1 this morning, D dropped me off at Irongray Church so that I could walk home. As you can see, it has been a lovely sunny day today, with a sharp frost first thing, but warm in the sunshine during the afternoon. T shirt weather for my walk.

I had a wander around the cemetery before heading home - I always like to read the stories on old graves and to say hello to some of the more recent ones of people I have known. It's possible that I might join them here one day - the future is not certain but some things are set in stone and one of them is that I won't live forever. I think about death quite often, but more so this week as several friends and relatives have died this month. 

Not being morbid, just realistic - I hope I have plenty of days like these left to enjoy :-)
