Red Teardrops, Springfield, Maidstone
A very grey, damp day today so didn't feel much like venturing out apart from getting some bits and bobs for tonight's dinner. On the way back we stopped off at the site of the old public library (it's now an ongoing location for yet more new housing, both flats and houses) at Springfield on the edge of town. The hoardings there had some rather arresting graffiti on them so I just had to capture this detail. I also liked the fallen leaves at their base.
Sometimes I realise I have overlapping subject matter from one blip to the next, my last three blips being a case in point. A knight features in my previous two blips and graffiti and hoardings in today's and yesterday's. Maybe it's just accidental but there is occasionly a passing of the baton stylistically and visually that plays at the back of your mind every now and again even if it is subconsciously.
