EVENING GLOW

Normally we enjoy the lingering light on the mountains in the warmer months. Today has been unusually warm for wintery July, more like early summer.
I noticed that the buds on the almond tree have swollen and there is one blossom fully opened with more to follow. It looks like a very early spring this year. I just hope that we do not have a cold snap in August with frost that could harm the fruit.
