Swing by the beach

Several swings hang from the trees along the beach. They mostly have the  Seychellois flag attached.

A very brief and condensed history:
The Seychelles was uninhabited before European discovery in 16th century.
France and Britain squabbled over the islands for a while.
The plantations required labour from European colonies in Africa.
The islands became independent from GB in 1976.
Then there was a coup followed by becoming a socialist one party state.
New constitution and elections held in1993.
President Wavel Ramkalawan voted in in 2020 . Still in office.
