Signs of autumn

Backblip for Sunday 13/10.  Harvest Festival this morning which I had completely forgotten about!  Intended to take a photo of the offerings at the altar, but forgot that too as I was having such a funny conversation over coffee! I then went to the Churches Together harvest festival at the Congs this afternoon - a buffet first (had had lunch so just had a coffee) and then a service which was friend H's last service as their leader.  We sang the Harvest Samba which we had already sung at our church this morning so thankfully some of us knew it.  Forgot to take a photo there too as I was busy chatting to a hospital colleague - hard to believe that she retired 11 years ago now and me 6 years ago - both taking the chance to retire early!  So the holly bush spied on the way home had to suffice as today's blip!
