Autumn Webs
It’s a day when I don’t leave the house but for a visit to G’s mum. She’s doing well, and happy in her new home - but for a desire to have her own sheets rather than those provided by the home. Now, purchasing some single fitted sheets should be quite simple, but we have to get the ones she wants and identifying exactly what this is takes time!
Back home, there’s little left to photograph in the garden - yesterday’s sweet peas have gone. There are a few perennials still flowering in the border - safe for now - but today I’m drawn towards the multitude of spider webs that have escaped G’s garden tidy-up.
Sunshine and showers are an ideal combination; rain bejewelling the gossamer threads, sunshine adding sparkle against the autumn colours of the winter jasmine.
