A sunny day in Rishton.
I got up at 7am and made and watched the news while I had some breakfast and a refreshing cup of tea.
I delivered the morning papers and then filled the washing machine.
Next I watered all the Prospects planters and took some photos of the beautiful flowers.Lots of colourful petunias and bright lillies.
Then it was off on a short Stepping Out walk and a good chat with Julie along the way, from 10:30 to noon.
The blip shows some of the sights along the canal.
Wonderful to see the cygnets growing up and staying together.
Maria and Heather have gone on the train to Blackburn for a browse around the shops.
The clouds have cooled things down nicely, but Arthur is still sitting in his favourite flowerpot on some small pebbles and squashed ferns!
Hoping Kate is not in labour for too much longer and that the baby makes an appearance before long.
So excited.
Have a wonderful Monday blip friends.
