The gerbils.

The gecko (yesterday's back blip) is shy and we have barely seen it since it went into the vivarium last night but we expected it to need lots of time to settle in.  The two gerbils we collected today are the opposite.  Noisy, very bold and VERY fast!   While the gecko has a sensible name, B has named the gerbils, both girls,  Fudge and Blacky.  I can't get a decent photo of Blacky as it won't stay still for even a nano second.  They are very funny to watch.  We spent a long time setting out their enclosure only for them to have completely rearranged it, dug tunnels and made it their own.
