Welly funny memories

Martin and I walked to Borley Wood this morning, it's not a walk we do very often anymore.  When we came across this welly I KNEW it's story...

In February 2011 (13 years ago) Kate and I took 7 children for a dog walk in that area.  The corner of the field was waterlogged and of course the youngest children were instantly attracted.  However they started getting stuck, and then as more children/mums/dogs tried to help, they were getting stuck too.  

It is very funny in retrospect but at the time out of 18 wellies, 7 remained stuck in the field that day.  I found and uploaded the rest of the photos here.

We found this green welly on the path through Borley Wood, now providing shelter for snails.
